Craft Out West 2011

Geez has it been a year already?! Last year was my first year as a stall holder which I shared with another crafty person "Miss Wendy". I concentrated on demin bags that I had made from demin jeans and I surprisingly I sold a few of them to actual customers.

This year I have a few more products, alongside the demin bags eg...coffee cups cozy's, small tote bags etc..as well as some crochet items. Hope to see you there.

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 3

A Picture of the cast from your favourite show

Oh there are so many. Currently I've been watching The Good Wife - it is so well written. I also like off beat type stuff - Doll House, Dr. Who, Santuary, Supernatural, Smallville, Hoarders, Country House Rescue, River Cottage.

Bo Bunny Scrap Pack

These are the layouts I created for Better Scrapbooking Ltd. Check out the website for June's Newsletter. Bo Bunny has some goreous themed paper and judging by the high creativity going on with this pack Bo Bunny is definately a keeper.

Embellishment Technique:
I used a rubon sheet as a photo mount. This rub-on just didn't want to rub-on anymore and I didn't really want to throw it out. So I had seen something similiar and thought - that is such a good idea. It a great way to repurpose supplies that may otherwise end up in the bin.
Embellishment Technique:
Top note template - used as a photo mount. I took the Bo Bunny cut out sheet and traced around the top note shape and made a template. I then traced and cut out this shape from the Green cardstock and the cool thing is I have this template to use on my other projects

Embellishment Technique:
Here I took one patterned paper and cut around the flowers, then arrange accordlingly, once you have the desired look, adhere using mounting tape - it will give your embellishment depth. If you really want to make it pop add bling, buttons and or small flowers.

Templates -
If anyone is interested in the templates I used in the first two of my layouts, send me a self addressed envelope to:

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day Two

A photo of you and the person you have been closest with the longest
It may sound corny but Al my husband is my closest friend with whom I confide 99.9% with, I mean a girls gotta have a little bit of mystery - Right?!. I think it's because we got together so young and essentially grew up together. We bring out the best and worst in each other but I would be lost without him, he's my life. My father in law (deceased) always admired the fact we made important decisions together as a couple.
